This knife has a good weight and feel. It is a little small, but that is good for a knife that will be concealed in a boot. The blade is black, which makes for easier stealth. The sheath is thick and solid, which is a good thing since you dont want the knife cutting right through it. The snap for the strap that holds the knife in is easy to undo with your thumb. www.youtube.com

I picked up this Smith and Wesson HRT boot knife for about $15 on Amazon.com to add to my collection. This is a very high value knife that would be perfect for a self defense knife. It comes with a very function leather sheath and the blade is 4" and made of 440C stainless steel. For the price this is a good rust and corrosion resistant blade that you can leave in your car and forget about.

Here is another Budget self defense boot knife that I picked up for less than $15. The S&W HRT Tanto Boot Knife. This is a small compact little knife that is full tang construction and appears indestructible. There are better knives in the price range, but I think this is a nice little low budget addition to anyones collection or addition to SHTF or prepping supplies. This is a nice inexpensive tactical fixed blade knife.
